PodArticle turns a long podcast episode into a map: every section labeled, every timestamp checked against the actual transcript. You watch the parts you care about and skip the rest.
Find your episode
Type a show, guest, or topic into the box on the homepage and pick the episode from the results — no need to leave the site. Already have the YouTube link? Paste it instead. Messy links from the YouTube share sheet are fine; we tidy them automatically.
We map the episode
PodArticle pulls the episode's full caption track, then reads it end to end and builds a section-by-section map: a summary, the Top 5 moments worth your time, and a full section map covering the entire episode. Timestamps are matched against the transcript — never guessed.
Mapping your own episodes needs a free sign-in (Google or email). Browsing episodes other people have mapped never needs an account.
Watch only what matters
Tap any moment or section and the episode plays right on the page from that exact second. Found something a friend would love? Every moment has a small share icon — copy a link to that exact moment, post it, or text it. Whoever opens it lands on that moment.
Quick answers
Is it free? Yes — free while we grow, with no cap on how many episodes you map. We'll never pull a bait-and-switch; if pricing ever arrives, early users hear it from us first.
Does it work on any podcast? Any podcast on YouTube with captions. Very new episodes sometimes need a few hours before their captions are ready — if that happens, we'll tell you to try again later rather than show you a half-built map.
Do creators lose out? No. Every timestamp plays the original video on YouTube — views and ads stay with the creator. We're a discovery layer that sends episodes more viewers, not fewer.
